A practical video redaction workflow

Understand what to review before publishing your footage.

From local file to reviewed export

1. Select a video

Open a video that your browser can decode. Media is processed on your device.

2. Detect and review

Review detected faces and plates, add fixed masks, and choose mosaic, blur or black cover.

3. Export and check

Download the rendered result. Export formats and processing performance depend on your browser and device.

What to check

An interview

Check every visible face, including reflections and people entering the frame.

A driving clip

Check plates frame by frame where visibility, motion or distance changes.

A screen or badge

Use fixed masks only where the sensitive region stays in place. Moving objects need additional review.

Automatic detection can miss faces or plates. Review the entire exported video and add manual masks where needed. Blurring alone does not guarantee anonymity or legal compliance.

About examples

These are workflow descriptions, not customer testimonials, performance benchmarks or claims that every object will be detected.
