Detection has limits

Detection works best with clearly visible, front-facing plates. The current detector is not guaranteed to recognise every country’s plate design, angle or distance. Check the complete export.

Automatic detection can miss faces or plates. Review the entire exported video and add manual masks where needed. Blurring alone does not guarantee anonymity or legal compliance.

Masking choices

Use mosaic, blur or an opaque black mask. Add a fixed rectangular region for details the detector misses, and check that it covers the detail throughout the clip.
