1. Who is responsible
BITSAND COMMERCE LTD operates blurloom and is responsible for personal data processed through this website. Contact [email protected] or write to Unit 7 No 510 Monsall Road, Manchester, United Kingdom, M40 8WN.
2. Your videos stay on your device
The editor reads and processes the video you select in your browser. Our editor does not upload the video, its filename, detected regions or exported media to our servers. Processing uses temporary browser memory. You control any exported downloads and must delete them yourself when no longer needed. Closing the tab ends the editing session; browser caching and downloaded files are managed by your browser and device.
3. Website requests and support
Our hosting infrastructure receives technical request information such as IP address, requested URL, browser information, timestamps and error information to deliver and protect the website. If you contact us, we receive your email address, message and any information you choose to send. Avoid including sensitive personal information or media in support messages unless we agree on an appropriate way to provide it.
Account and billing data
When you create an account, our authentication service receives your email and password to authenticate you. A sign-in token is stored in necessary session storage until you sign out or the browser session ends. When you start a subscription, your name, billing email, country and phone are sent to our payment service and the provider shown with your selected plan to process the transaction. Payment credentials are collected through the payment provider’s secure interface. Account, order and subscription records support delivery, cancellation and troubleshooting. We process these records to provide the service you request. Contact support to request account deletion, subject to any necessary record retention.
4. Optional analytics and storage
We use a necessary language preference cookie for up to one year when you select a language. Without a saved choice, we use your browser’s preferred language; unsupported languages fall back to Japanese. This preference does not enable analytics.
With your permission, our analytics module records page paths, referrer origin and path, browser/device signals, event times, an anonymous browser identifier and a session identifier. The receiving server can also see your IP address. Page query strings and fragments are not included by the analytics module. It does not collect video files, filenames or editing content.
Analytics identifiers use local storage and session storage, scoped to this website. Optional analytics starts only after you choose to allow it. You can decline without losing the editor. We store your privacy preference on your device so that we can respect it. Browser identifiers remain until you withdraw permission or clear site storage; session identifiers normally expire when the browser session ends.
With your permission, Microsoft Clarity provides heatmaps and session recordings of public website pages to help us improve navigation. Clarity uses cookies and receives interaction, device and page information. We mask page text and do not send account identifiers. Clarity is not loaded in the editor, account or subscription pages, or on pages with query strings other than the supported language preference. You can withdraw permission using the button below; the page reloads to stop recording. Previously received analytics is not automatically deleted.
5. Why we use data
We use technical request data for our legitimate interests in delivering, securing and troubleshooting the website. We use support information to respond to requests, take steps you request before a contract or perform a contract, and meet legal obligations where applicable. Optional analytics relies on your consent, which you may withdraw at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
6. Recipients and international processing
Hosting, infrastructure and support service providers may process the information needed to operate these services. The website and account service operate in our international hosting environment in Singapore, so technical requests and account records may be processed there. Communications may also be processed in the countries where our email and infrastructure providers operate. Contact us for information about a particular recipient or transfer and applicable safeguards. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect legal rights. We do not sell your selected media or use it to train AI models.
7. Payments
Checkout uses the provider shown with your selected subscription plan. Payment details are collected through that provider’s secure interface. blurloom receives transaction and subscription status but does not collect card numbers or security codes. Never send card details by email.
8. Retention
We retain support and operational information only for as long as needed for the purpose, including resolving requests, security incidents, legal obligations and disputes. Retention depends on the type of record, the issue involved and applicable legal requirements. Contact us about deletion of records linked to you. Withdrawing analytics permission stops future analytics and removes the module’s identifiers from this browser; it does not automatically delete records already received.
9. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain processing. You can withdraw consent through the preference control above. Email us to exercise rights; we may need reasonable information to verify your identity. UK residents can raise concerns with the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. You may also contact your local data protection authority.
10. Children and changes
This service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us. We may update this policy when processing changes and will update the date above. We will seek new permission where a new use requires it.
