Terms of service

The terms for using blurloom.

Last updated: 2026-10-10.

1. Operator and contact

blurloom is operated by BITSAND COMMERCE LTD, Unit 7 No 510 Monsall Road, Manchester, United Kingdom, M40 8WN. Contact [email protected].

2. Service and availability

blurloom provides browser-based video redaction tools described on our tools page. The current product detects faces and license plates and supports fixed manual regions and three masking styles. It does not provide guaranteed detection, anonymity, regulatory compliance, photo editing or AI background segmentation.

3. Subscription status

blurloom is a paid subscription product. The subscription page displays the current annual price, any trial and recurring billing terms from our sales configuration. Membership ends immediately on cancellation. Review the selected plan before subscribing. Review the amount and recurring billing agreement before confirming payment. Membership is activated after our service confirms payment. No payment obligation or recurring charge is created merely by browsing or opening the editor.

4. Your content and responsibilities

You retain your rights in your media. You must have the rights and permissions needed to process and share it. Do not use the service for unlawful content, fraud, harassment, infringing others’ rights or interfering with the website. The service is intended for adults with capacity to enter a contract.

5. Review every result

Detection is approximate and can miss or misidentify objects. You are responsible for checking the complete export before sharing it. Manual rectangles are fixed and do not follow moving objects. Local processing does not by itself make the resulting video anonymous or lawful to disclose.

6. Device requirements and delivery

Browser capabilities, codecs, memory and clip length affect compatibility and performance. Keep your original files and downloaded exports; we do not provide cloud project storage. See digital delivery and technical requirements.

7. Support, cancellation and refunds

Use our contact page for support or complaints. Read our cancellation information and refund policy. These pages explain your subscription and preserve mandatory consumer rights.

8. Privacy and third-party components

Our privacy policy explains website data, local media processing and analytics choices. Third-party software and models retain their applicable licences and attribution notices. Access to the service does not transfer ownership of the website or its software to you.

9. Changes and liability

We may maintain or change the service and will update these terms when relevant. We do not promise uninterrupted service or errorless automatic detection. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence, or limits mandatory consumer remedies.

10. Questions and disputes

Contact support first so we can investigate a concern. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory protections or court rights available to consumers under applicable law.

Accessibility Statement

We aim to make our service usable with keyboard navigation, readable text and assistive technology. Compatibility can vary by browser, device, media player and payment provider. This statement is not a claim of audited WCAG conformance. If you encounter a barrier, contact Customer Support with the page URL, device, browser and a description of the problem so we can review it and help with access.

Disclaimer

Service availability and results depend on the features described for your selected product, your device and supported software. No website statement guarantees uninterrupted operation or a particular result. The disclosed purchase terms and applicable consumer rights govern your purchase; this notice does not remove rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
